I just had a chance to listen to the electronic duo from London, Labyrinth Ear, and I have to say I like what I hear. Pulsing electro bass and subtle but driving beats accented beautifully by some female vocals buoy this track. I think this might be my favorite new band of 2012 so far.
Absofacto has released a new single entitled “Lies” and the clinking twinkling swirling pop production is a pleasure to listen to, but don’t take my word for it.
One of my favorite bands is set to return (Finally!) with a new full length album. The Canadian/Belgian electronic/pop/rock duo of Mathieu Gendreau and Pieter Van Dessel who formed Plastic Operator in London, UK have released a fierce new single rife with guitar riffs and danceable beats. That familiar enveloping warm electronic fuzz is all over this track and makes me want to hear more tracks. But alas, I have to wait until Feb 12.
