Max Justus is set to release his debut full length album on July 14th which features a variety of party starting beats and cross genre dance-tastic experiments. Max Justus also worked on an EP of remixes for Kanye West’s tracks off of his 808′s and Heartbreak album, taking an already inventive collection of songs and making them even better. His new release No Mercy will undoubtedly keep the jams flowing. If you’re looking to sample a bit of the growling grooves of what’s to come click below!

(New Music!) Pic Vicious Strikes with LA Dreamer!
Pic Vicious are a three piece electro-pop group out of California who sounds like the slinky sound child of Gary Numan and Depeche Mode or Jim Morrison resurrected by Kraftwerk. Their new single LA Dreamer Utilizes all the analog keyboards and mega compressed drum sounds sure to drive you to the dancefloor.

Sissy Ven’s April & May

Sissy Ven’s new single “April & May” runs the full electro gamut. Starting off with sparse drums and soundscaping synths, the banger slowly adds in new elements, from high pitched wailing synths to full on party down handclaps. There’s even breaks from the dancefloor melting and some faint vocals before the song shakes up and drops back into debauchery mode. It might almost be December, but Sissy Ven will have you aching for spring with their single “April & May”.

Ratatat’s LP3
Ratatat return with the most to the point album title I’ve ever read, “LP3″. This being their third album, Mike Stroud and Evan Mast have decided to branch out their style in two directions. On one hand they have their classical sound involving intricate melodies and sweeping strings (sometimes even without beats!)and on the other they are branching out their beat fueled grooves employing some of the most upbeat drum tracks they’ve ever used and some tracks built entirely on acoustic sounding hand claps. The results are pretty spectacular. Don’t expect any animal sound effects, but do expect virtually every other trick a keyboard, bass, guitar, and drum machine can provide. From their trademark slide guitar, Crystal Castles-like garbled 8-bit video game blasts, to an occasional voice box over the guitar and you’ve got the basic ingredients of “LP3″ but only Stroud and Mast could season them so deliciously. Even though their previous album was entitled “Classics”, it might be “LP3″ that goes down as their timeless classic.

The Notwist tell some Good Lies
After a long break and several side projects the Notwist finally return with the (I’m assuming single) “Good Lies”. Markus Acher croons again, gently in his charming German accent, as he and his band mates employ chiming guitars and spare electronic blips and bleeps on this poignant tune. I had been hoping for some new Notwist, and this guitar heavy track reminds me of their excellent song “One With The Freaks” off of their excellent 2002 album Consider me among the salivating music fans eagerly awaiting the release of their new album, The Devil, You + Me, this June.
