Mr. Vega, arguably the hardest working remixer in the biz, returns again with mixes of Franz Ferdinand’s as of yet unreleased single “Ulysses” and Crystal Castles’ haunting jam “Vanished”. The perfect electro-caffeine to kick off your Tuesday morning.
Mr. Vega is something of a work-a-holic, it seems every time a new artist pops up to claim the limelight he is waiting with a remix of their new single. How does he know where to be and who to remix? The answer must be that he is a DJ from the future sent back to save Sarah Connor. Right? Well anyway he has remixed “Sleepy Head” from the emerging indie band Passion Pit. Falsetto vocals wail frenetically over a wall of steady fuzz bass and hand claps. It might not change your life, but it might just create enough momentum to push through to the weekend.
The classy cuts of Mr. Vega once again grace the AZLTRON music blog, with a smattering of original works, and remixes of pop icons Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and transcendent French House icons Justice. Now would be a good time to have a sub woofer.

Mr. Vega returns yet again with another remix of a blog beloved band, this time Death From Above 1979 is on the table. The track? “Little Girl”, fueled by the original bass riff and a bit of an answering machine, this is the kind of song I’d want to see drunk guys swinging on vines, headed to a dance party in the Jungle. Think about it, I feel the closed caption subtitles would be something like, “Waaaoooohhh!” *Thunk* (Drunk man crashes in the PA system). A lot of fun for sure.
